My Story

I found the stage early. When I was seven, doctors suggested dance classes to help straighten and strengthen my legs, and that practical recommendation opened a lifelong relationship with movement, storytelling, and performance. I’ve been creating ever since.

I’m an actor, writer, and storyteller with more than 30 years of experience across film, television, and the stage. My work includes studio features, network television, and independent projects, always grounded in curiosity, craft, and heart. You may have seen me on Abbott Elementary, This Is Us, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, St. Denis Medical, or in films like Jurassic Park III and Speed.

Alongside my on-camera work, I’ve created and performed three solo shows and more than 40 characters. Pieces like Conversations ’Bout The Girls, MamaIsms, and I’m Gonna Fly blend humor, honesty, and soul, celebrating women’s voices, bodies, ancestry, and the beautiful messiness of being human.

Spiritual practice has been part of my life for as long as I can remember and naturally weaves its way into my creative work. I’m the founder of Visions of Possibilities and the host of Healing Prayer Parties, free quarterly gatherings aligned with the equinoxes and solstices that offer reflection, prayer, and community.

My music video She Prayed for Me, written by me and produced with my husband, Chris Freeman, honors ancestral prayer and intergenerational love. It’s a personal project that reflects my belief in art as both expression and offering.

Based in Los Angeles, I continue to act, write, perform, dance, pray, and imagine what’s possible—on set, on stage, and in life.
